Our aim was to encapsulate the design's timelessness by setting the scene in space, offering glimpses into both the future and the past.
The first shot reveals the advanced technology and wiring within the car and demonstrates how signals are transmitted. As the car accelerates, the wires straighten and adjust to the shape of the wheel, positioned close to a black hole. The second shot shows the car accelerating on the Milky Way, travelling through the stars so fast that they create streaks as it passes by. The shot ends with the car breaking through the sound barrier, the stars fading slowly and transitioning into the final shot of the timeless car driving off into the future.
This project was realised entirely using Houdini and Karma, and composited in Nuke.
